Since its creation, BioPark Charleroi, with its historical partners ULB, UMONS, Igretec & Sambrinvest, has grown into one of Belgium’s most dynamic Life Sciences campuses.
With more than 100 companies, 3,500+ jobs, state-of-the-art infrastructures and a growing international reputation, BioPark Charleroi has become a driving force in Wallonia’s innovation landscape. It embodies the life sciences sector’s contribution to the region’s economic transformation and positions Wallonia as a hub of scientific and industrial excellence.
On November 5th , join us and our historical partners ULB, UMONS, Igretec & Sambrinvest, to celebrate a key milestone: our 25th anniversary !
With a unique event, designed in two complementary parts, we will bring together the entire ecosystem: entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, institutions, public actors, talents and alumni.
More than a celebration of our journey, this anniversary is about shaping the future. It is an opportunity to reaffirm our collective ambition and to project the next chapter of our ecosystem.

The event will unfold in two complementary parts :

In-depth, community-focused session at the heart of BioPark Charleroi :
- Research excellence from ULB and UMons
- Synergies between academia & industry driving collaborative innovation
From 6:00 PM
La Maçonnerie, CampusUCharleroi
A celebration evening combining:
- Speeches from public & institutional leaders
- Round table with BioPark key stakholders
- Walking dinner
Together, these two moments will give a 360° perspective of BioPark’s impact, from bench to market, and from past to future.
